Chicken soup really makes you feel better fast. It works more effectively than most other soups. No one knows why. Try our recipe. It is delicious. Enjoy and stay healthy.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1,5- to 6-pound stewing hen or baking chicken
- 4-5 medium carrot
- Bunch fresh parsley with roots
- Celery root - medium
- 1-2 leeks
- 1 onion
- 4-6 cloves garlic, peeled
- 2-3 dry mushrooms
- 10-15 Allspice
- 6-8 Bay Laurel
- Salt and pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:
** Clean the chicken, put it in a large pot and cover it with cold water. Bring the water to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer, cook 15 min. Skim top if necessary.
** Wash all vegetables well by immersing in water. Open leeks and wash the insides well.
** Save some fresh parsley leaves.
** Add remaining ingredients except pepper, simmer covered until veggies are tender, for about 2-2,5 hour.
** You should have a nice, clear, rich broth.
** Serve with angel hair pasta or with egg yolk.
** Sprinkle some fresh chopped parsley and dill over the top just before serving the soup.
